Consumer Health Library
The Consumer Health Library - for the community's good health The Consumer Health Library provides health information to the community. It is a place for patients, families, employees, and the public to go to find such information. It is our goal to provide up-to-date health information in understandable terms and in different ways. Services available are:
- Books
- Pamphlets
- Magazines
- Videtapes
- Audiotapes
- Computer searches
Computer searches are done using the Internet or our new InfoTrac system. The system stores three years of the newest and most useful medical information on a CD used in a computer. The information comes from:
- Over 150 titles
- Approximately 100 public magazines and newsletters
- Professional journals
- 500 medical education pamphlets
- 5 medical reference books
Our Researcher will help you find the information you need. It can be read on the computer screen or printed for you to take home.
Please ask for help to find your information. We can give you information on how to get copies of different books, pamphlets, magazines, videotapes and audiotapes.
